４７２日目『日が大好きな雪だるま』
雪だるまのルルはとおい山の上に住んでいました。
One day, he saw the glowing moon and said, "Oh! The glow, the glow!"
ある日のこと、彼は昇る月を見ていいました。「わあ！ 光だ！ひかりだ！」
ルルはいろんなものを見つけては「光だ、ひかりだ！」と追いかけていました。
蛍が飛んでいるのを見ても、同じようにしていると、

ルルは足を踏み外して、山を転がり落ちていきました。
彼が頂上まで登っていく間に、放置されたキャンプファイヤーをみつけました。
例によって、「光だ、ひかりだ！」と駆け寄っていきました。
そして
Lulu went to the fire and touched it but the fire burnt hand.
"Oh! Bad glow, bad glow!"
ルルはそれに触れて、手が焼けてしまいました。
「悪いひかりだ、悪い光！」
Soon, Lulu's whole body was on fire and he began to melt!
By the time his parent found him, Lulu was nothing more than a pool of water.
すぐにルルの体全体は火に包まれ、溶けてしまいました。
かれの両親が見つけた時、かれは水たまりになっていました。
両親は悲しみました。
When their tears dropped into the pool, the love from their tears mixed with the water and brought Lulu back to life again!
彼らの涙が水たまりに入り、その水に両親の気持ちがまざったとき、ルルはよみがえりました。
"I'm sorry Mama and Papa. I'll always listen to you!" said Lulu and he never disobeyed his parents, ever again!
